13) How can I watch the eclipse safely? safely?

During a total eclipse, when the Sun is completely covered (the "totality" phase), you can look at it very briefly with the naked eye, but only while the solar disk is 100% covered. As soon as the first light reappears, you must look away or use appropriate solar filters.

To safely observe a solar eclipse, you need certified solar filters, such as those used for welding or glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 standard, or you can project the image of the Sun indirectly (for example, with a homemade camera obscura or a pinhole projector).

In any case, observing the Sun, even with a good filter, is dangerous, as you may become distracted and end up looking at it without a filter. That is why there is nothing safer than projecting the image of the Sun.
