Become a volunteer
The Science Museum of the University of Navarra is looking for volunteers who are passionate about science, the environment and its conservation and want to participate in science education activities.
The Museum's volunteer program is open to anyone: young people, university students, active or retired people, and anyone who wants to participate by supporting the organization and execution of any of its activities.
Volunteering allows:

Contribute to creating enriching experiences for visitors and develop and share professional skills.
Network of people
Be part of our network of people passionate about science and excited about improving the world.
Certification
Obtain credits or certificates for Service-Learning school work (collaboration agreements with schools).
Practices
Do curricular internships or support as a university student collaborator.
WHAT PROFILES ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for communicators, explainers, listeners and helpers. They should be prepared to develop an understanding of science and science outreach within our activities, and be interested in exploring interesting and provocative ideas with our visitors. They are excellent communicators and understand the importance of listening to the views and opinions of others.
WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED?
An adaptable, flexible and confident personality.
Enthusiasm for meeting/talking and listening/learning from a wide variety of people.
Self-initiative, but able to work effectively in a team.
Commitment to provide a consistently excellent visitor experience.
Excellent communication skills in general.
Excellent listening skills.
Proven curiosity and enthusiasm for the arts, design, science, technology and health.
Volunteers will be able to receive:
Training with professional experts
Letter of recommendation (minimum 50 hours)
Recognition of volunteer hours
*The volunteer experiences vary in duration and responsibility and comply with the requirements established in the FORAL LAW 2/1998, OF 27 MARCH, ON VOLUNTEERING IN NAVARRA. Each case will be studied individually.
