THE EXHIBITION
From October 18 to November 28, the Science Museum of the University of Navarra presents the exhibition "Insects. Everything they tell". An in-depth look at the diversity of a class of animals that represents 60-70 % of all known species. Throughout the exhibition, visitors will be able to peek into the life of insects: from their surprising shapes and colors to the complex adaptations that allow them to thrive in different habitats.
Its main objective is to awaken wonder through the exuberance and beauty of diversity. However, it also delves into the biology, behavior and ecology of these beings, as well as their crucial role in the food chain and their vital contribution to biodiversity. It seeks, therefore, to inspire admiration for the magnificence of insects, as well as a renewed commitment to the preservation and conservation of their habitat and biodiversity in general.
In addition, it aims to do so through integration, presenting an exhibition adapted to diverse audiences, accessible and attractive to audiences of different ages, educational levels and abilities, ensuring that the museum is inclusive from the conceptualization and welcoming to all.
The space is designed to guide visitors through a coherent narrative; mixing informative and graphic panels with projections, terrariums, magnifying glasses and insect boxes, and other interactive elements that contribute to enrich the experience. The exhibition has easy-to-read texts, 3D pieces to touch, expanded information on the web and educational workshops adapted to special educational needs, thanks to the collaboration of the El Molino school.
