NOVEMBER 11-16
SCIENCE WEEK
The Faculty of Science and the Science Museum of the University of Navarra have among their objectives to bring the results and methods of research activity to society, especially to young people, encouraging curiosity, creativity, innovation, rigor, passion and commitment to science. With this purpose, we join the worldwide celebration of Science and Technology Week.
The Science Museum, with the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) / Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, has been organizing this event uninterruptedly since 2007, seeking to bring society closer to the scientific profession, the value of science and the importance of society's participation in its development, with a full program of scientific activities for all audiences.
Activities for schools
Every year hundreds of secondary and high school students participate in the Science Week activities organized by the Faculty of Science. Through experiments on biology, physics, chemistry and microbiology, as well as informative talks given by our teachers and researchers, students learn and reinforce, in an attractive and entertaining way, some scientific concepts that they are studying at their schools.

Open Day
The School of Science of the University of Navarra organizes the Open Day so that the students of 1st and 2nd year of high school can get to know the professional opportunities of the science degrees. During the morning, the students carry out internships in the laboratories of the University, and those accompanying them have a parallel program with sessions on academic offerings, admission, housing, scholarships and career opportunities.
The 2024 edition will take place on Saturday, November 16.
Science and Biodiversity Talks
A series dedicated to exploring the relationship between science and biodiversity through film and specialized talks. We present three sessions that address both the conservation of nature and its impact on urban environments and its ability to inspire innovation. The series aims to open a window on biological diversity, from its protection to its ability to inspire us.
Dinner with Science
The Science Museum and Álex Mújica present "Dinner with Science", a tasty and fun evening in which we will bring together the best of Álex Mújica's cuisine with the science of the museum.
Enjoy a good dinner with friends while you learn the science of wine tasting, the biology of txangurro, reversible reactions: why does mayonnaise cut, time or temperature: you have to choose, what is oxidization, the calories in your dessert, why radioactive gin and tonic sparkles, and much more.
