On August 12, 2026, there will be a total solar eclipse, an extraordinary phenomenon that invites us to look up and wonder what it is about the sky that has always made us seek answers there.
To accompany this event, we have prepared a scientific outreach program for all audiences that explores the eclipse from multiple perspectives: astronomy, mathematics, philosophy, culture, history, and our relationship with the Sun and Moon.
Throughout the spring of 2026, the "Mondays in the Sun" lecture series will bring together leading experts, but the program goes much further: family workshops, participatory activities, and experiences designed for all ages.
