The University and LABORAL Kutxa renew their sponsorship agreement for the #LabMeCrazy! Science Film Festival

The bank will contribute 12,000 euros for the film festival and the cycle "The Science Museum Explains".

The University of Navarra has renewed the sponsorship agreement with LABORAL Kutxa whereby the entity will contribute 10,000 euros for the third edition of the international film festival #LabmeCrazy! and 2,000 euros to the lecture series"The Science Museum Explains".

The agreement was signed by Igor Errasti, general administrator of the academic center, and Pello Bayona, director of Business in Navarra at LABORAL Kutxa. The general administrator thanked the entity for its commitment to this project with which it has been collaborating since the first edition: "The collaboration of Laboral Kutxa during these years has boosted the Museum's informative work through the international film festival and the lecture series. Both activities are a meeting point to transmit scientific knowledge and care for the environment among the new generations". 

For his part, Pello Bayona assured that "the renewal of the agreement is the result of the cooperation between the University of Navarra and LABORAL Kutxa, to promote scientific dissemination among citizens, as a contribution to society in general and to Navarra in particular".

Bringing science closer

The third edition of #LabMeCrazy! Film Festival will take place from February 21 to 24, 2022. The festival, which in its last edition counted with the participation of 1,120 productions from 92 countries, seeks to awaken the passion for science, highlighting and rewarding some of the best science-related audiovisual productions

"The Science Museum Explains" is a series of lectures that addresses issues related to science that are very present in the media and public opinion. Professors and researchers, both from the University of Navarra and from other universities and institutions, give these informative sessions aimed at all audiences interested in scientific topics.
