Welcome Leon"We are very happy because this year we have once again exceeded the number of productions in competition and the number of countries of origin. We are fortunate to have films from all over the world, which greatly enriches our festival.. And just as important as that extraordinary number is the fact that we have films that have been made by some of the best producers internationally. Many of them are amazing films," he notes. Welcome Leon, director of #LabMeCrazy! Science Film Festival.

The finalists will be announced in early September and the official jury will determine the winners in each category of the festival: documentary or report; television program; video for the web or social networks; student production; and work produced or co-produced by a university. The festival also includes two other awards: the Audience Award and the Passion for Science Award.

This multidisciplinary jury will be made up of Rebeca Fernández, sales director of Off the Fence (The Netherlands); filmmaker Jaime Jacobsen (United States); Mónica González, doctoral student at the University of Navarra; scientist and popularizer Lluís Montoliu; and Samuel Negredo, professor at the School of Communication of the University of Navarra.

"Our festival is like a fireworks display: it can be enjoyed in a short time and in an intense way, but it requires a lot of preparation. So the entire festival team is already working to ensure that the films and scientific activities we will be offering in February will surprise and interest all kinds of audiences."
