To raise awareness among the university community and to live the campus experience in a more sustainable and planet-friendly way. These are the main objectives of the Sustainability Club, launched by a group of 44 students from different faculties of the University of Navarra.

This year the club will work on two main initiatives: creating a sustainability guide for students and organizing the 1st Sustainability Week at the University of Navarra, which will take place between November 16 and 20.

"Our goal is for this week to be held every year and to remain a regular event. We want to inform people that sustainability is not just about climate change, but goes much further," says its president, Milene Pardo-Figueroa, a student of International Relations.

It will be a week in which several experts will talk about energy saving, innovation and sustainability, cooking and nutrition or climate change, focusing on various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) each day. Workshops have also been organized where attendees will receive guidelines for making homemade dyes, taking advantage of food and not wasting food; or how to exercise with materials that we can find in our own home.

All sessions will be online and those interested can register at the following link.
