LABORAL Kutxa will contribute to the financing of the Bioma Center of the University of Navarra. This is the result of the collaboration agreement signed by the territorial director of the financial institution, Francisco Javier Cortajarena, and the president of the Association of Friends (ADA) of the University of Navarra, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero

With this agreement, Laboral Kutxa joins the purpose of the BIOMA Center, a project that aims to be a transformative space from which the University can be present in the great social dialogue on issues of science, environment and sustainability. A place that brings together researchers, students, companies and public of different generations around the shared passion for science and nature.

"We are a financial institution based on a cooperative model, with a commitment to support the environment in which we operate. In this sense, the BIOMA Center project and its objectives are aligned with our criteria of sustainability and support for Navarre society," said Francisco Javier Cortajarena.

For his part, the president of the ADA, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, thanked LABORAL Kutxa for its support of the University's projects. "The new agreement that we are now signing will help us to make one of our strategic objectives for the coming years a reality: the BIOMA center, which will house a research institute on biodiversity and the Science Museum. Both LABORAL Kutxa and the University of Navarra aim to contribute to the sustainable development of society," he said.
