The commitment of organisations in the social sphere is increasingly visible due to new social and environmental challenges. The Science Museum is committed to putting science at the service of nature and human beings and is a platform for channelling companies' initiatives in this direction. 

The Science Museum also has the MECNA distinction awarded by the Government of Navarre to cultural and artistic initiatives of social interest, in accordance with the Foral Law of Cultural Patronage of Navarre. This law establishes a model of public-private collaboration for the implementation of cultural projects or activities. By virtue of this law, companies and individuals who support their projects are granted important tax incentives.
