The Science Museum of the University of Navarra opens a new edition of the urban camps Cienceando, from June 24, 2024 on the campus of Pamplona.
The camps are organized during the summer months and are designed as a fun way to spend the summer learning and enjoying science. Its teaching-learning program has been developed by teachers of Chemistry, Biology and Environmental Sciences. Our monitors are undergraduate and doctoral students in Science, Pedagogy and Teaching.
In addition, the University of Navarra Museum organizes the Hi Artist! Hi Artist! camps that we put at your disposal so that your children can enjoy a summer of Science and Art.

The camps follow an informal and experimental format. The groups are small and have one monitor for every 5 children. Our goal is to awaken scientific vocations in children and to explore the world of science in a natural environment.
Throughout a week of fun, they will develop scientific skills such as observation, classification, handling of measurement materials, while discovering the basic concepts of science and enjoying contact with nature. Our methodology encourages sensory and exploratory learning.
→ Chemical adventure
With the film Elemental by Pixar as a common thread, in the camp "Cienceando con la química" we will study water, fire, earth and wind. Formation of minerals, creation of stalagmites, observation of curious behaviors with water, obtaining colorful fires and games with air and wind among others will be the fun activities that will allow us to study physics and chemistry concepts this summer 2024.
→ Urban nature (I and II)
Summer is the ideal season to feed spontaneous curiosity, inviting our children to become naturalists for a week. The aim of the camps is to discover urban biodiversity, to investigate how the fauna and flora around us behave, why it is so necessary to protect them and the ways to do it.
